This is a story back then, when I was 4 year old. I was rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night as my head was bleeding profusely. I could still recall that I was conscious of my surroundings, where every of my family members were worrying about me.
It happened while I was playing with my Dad when I suddenly knocked my head against a sharp screw. He was hugging me too tight then I tried to get out of the hug and accidentally hit my head hard against the cupboard loose screw. I was in an unexplainable pain, and I ended up crying. I mean, what do you expect from a 4-year-old boy?
While I was in the hospital that night, I remembered that the waiting time for the operation was long, as during that night, the hospital was busy. I could hear cries, people grieving in pain, and some giving the terrified look at the sight of the doctor. Finally, it was my turn to be operated; I was actually calm, without knowing the reason why. I felt safe as my parents were there with me. While the doctor was stitching the top of my head, I could not remember if it was painful. I just could not feel any feelings at that moment. I was wide-awake when he was doing stitching and I did not feel any danger to my life at all.
After that incident. my father was more careful with me and took care of me better. I could say because of that incident, it makes my father a different person as he started to treat me much better than before. Even now, I could still feel the pain once in awhile on my head but that pain helps me recollect and relieve my memories.
